Help us improve comprehensive care planning services
The Alzheimer’s Association and advocates like you have taken a leadership role in encouraging government leaders to improve access to comprehensive care planning services for those diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or a related dementia. These efforts have led to surging bipartisan support in Congress for the HOPE for Alzheimer’s Act, legislation that would provide this benefit.
In a new breakthrough for Alzheimer’s care, just days ago the federal government announced that it will now pay for a new service that would allow those diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease to receive comprehensive care planning services through a medical visit. Thank you for all you’ve done to help make this happen –but we’re not quite done yet.
